Tool Room Associate

Summary:

Tool Room Associate performs multiple functions to help streamline the daily business of Metromont. The duties include but are not limited to production support, coordinating pickups and deliveries with operations, assisting associates with tools, and other functions assigned by the Supply Chain Manager.

Responsibilities & Duties:

Monitor and maintain stock levels and identify purchasing needs Receive daily plant deliveries and check in against the packing slip. Distribute deliveries to each department promptly. Maintain accurate inventory and assist with monthly cycle counts Ensure that proper safety equipment and personal protective equipment are used while performing duties Maintain cleanliness of tool room, warehouse, and pad area Act as backup to Driver/Tool Room Assistant with various tasks

Qualifications:

Solid organizational skills Attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills (managers, supervisors, customers) Ability to work independently Operate a forklift Ability to stand and walk continuously while performing essential functions for an extended period of time

Experience:

Previous construction experience is preferred
