Job Description
Company Overview Wilcox Ice Cream specializes in manufacturing and distributing specialty foods, including ice cream, within a 200-mile radius using company-owned frozen trucks. We are committed to delivering high-quality products and excellent service to our customers. Overview We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping/Receiving Worker to join our distribution team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of our warehouse, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and supporting efficient warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Duties Load and unload shipments using equipment such as pallet jacks following safety protocols into freezer rooms and dry storage areas. Prepare orders for shipment by picking, packing, using packing slips Receive incoming deliveries, inspect goods for damage or discrepancies, and update inventory records accordingly. Maintain organized storage areas by stocking products properly and ensuring easy access for order picking. Restock inventory shelves with newly manufactured or received goods. Support overall warehouse operations including inventory counting Basic math skills for counting stock, and verifying quantities. Familiarity with packaging techniques to ensure safe transportation of goods.
