ABOUT THE JOB
The Receiving/ICQA Admin Associate ensures the smooth entry of goods into the facility and maintains real-time inventory integrity. Utilize WMS to track shipments, resolves count discrepancies, and conducts regular audits to prevent inventory shrinkage and order fulfillment errors.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Unload and inspect incoming shipments for damage, defects, or shortages. Scan tracking labels and barcodes using RF scanners to log items into the WMS. Verify packing slips against purchase orders to ensure shipment accuracy. Sort and stage received goods for efficient put-away into designated warehouse locations. Perform cycle counts and physical inventories as dictated by the WMS scheduling's Investigate discrepancies between physical stock and system records to find root causes. Audit storage locations to ensure products are stored in their correct, system-assigned zones. Manage damaged goods by processing returns, damages, or disposals according to company policy. Execute system transactions accurately to update inventory levels in real-time. Flag inventory errors or systemic glitches within the WMS interface for management review. Generate inventory reports to track accuracy metrics, warehouse capacity, and item velocity.
REQUIREMENTS
1-2 years in warehouse operations, specifically in receiving or inventory control. Proficiency with RF scanners and hands-on experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS). Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, walk, or bend for extended periods. Forklift or electric pallet jack certification is a strong plus. High attention to detail, basic math proficiency, and strong problem-solving skills.
