Job Description

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to manage our inventory records at Schmalz Custom Landscaping, Inc. This role focuses on maintaining accurate records of materials, plants, equipment, and supplies to ensure efficient daily operations. This position is vital for maintaining accurate stock levels, ensuring the efficient operation of our landscaping services. Key Responsibilities Maintain and update inventory records for plants, landscaping materials, and supplies Track incoming shipments, stock usage, and inventory adjustments Enter inventory data into internal systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness Record purchase orders, vendor deliveries, and stock transfers Perform routine inventory checks and assist with physical counts Identify and report discrepancies in inventory records Organize and maintain inventory logs, files, and documentation Coordinate with operations and retail teams to ensure accurate stock levels Assist with labeling, categorizing, and updating inventory systems Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required 0-2 years of inventory, warehouse, retail, or administrative experience preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy Basic computer skills (Excel or similar systems) Ability to handle repetitive tasks with consistency Good organizational and communication skills Benefits Health, dental, and vision insurance options Paid time off and holidays 401(k) Hands-on, team-oriented work environment
