In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing warehouse distribution, optimizing stock levels, and ensuring accurate inventory data across multiple systems. Your expertise in supply chain analytics, procurement, and warehouse operations will be vital in maintaining seamless inventory flow, reducing costs, and supporting overall business objectives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your analytical skills and technical proficiency to enhance our logistics and materials handling functions. Responsibilities Monitor and manage inventory levels using warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms such as AS400 and other inventory management software. Conduct data mining and analysis to identify discrepancies, root causes of stock variances, and opportunities for process improvement. Collaborate with procurement and sourcing teams to optimize purchasing strategies, pricing negotiations, and supplier management. Perform demand planning, production planning, and stocking activities to ensure optimal inventory availability aligned with sales forecasts. Utilize data visualization tools like Power BI to create reports that support decision-making in logistics inventory management and category management. Coordinate shipping & receiving operations, including materials handling, order fulfillment, and heavy lifting requirements. Implement continuous improvements in warehouse operations through process analysis, root cause analysis, and cross-functional communication. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse distribution, inventory management, or supply chain management with a focus on logistics inventory control. Strong technical skills including proficiency with ERP systems (such as AS400), warehouse management systems (WMS), Excel data analysis, and data visualization tools like Power BI. Knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, pricing models, and financial analysis related to inventory control. Ability to perform detailed data analytics using spreadsheets, data collection techniques, and demand planning tools such as MRP (Material Requirements Planning). Hands-on experience with warehouse operations including materials handling, shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, and forklift operation if applicable. Excellent analysis skills with a focus on root cause analysis, process improvement initiatives, and supply chain analytics. Strong communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration across merchandising, logistics, procurement, and production planning teams. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary and adhere to safety standards during materials handling activities.
