Full Job Description Manufacturing Operations & Inventory Support Starting Compensation:
$21.00 - $24.00/hour We are seeking a dependable, organized, and hands-on Purchaser to support daily manufacturing and operational activities. This position is responsible for purchasing raw materials, packaging materials, operational supplies, maintenance items, tools, and other approved company purchases needed to support production and facility operations. The Purchaser will also help verify incoming inventory, maintain accurate inventory organization, coordinate receiving activities, communicate with suppliers, and support overall operational flow throughout the facility. This is a hands-on position that works closely with manufacturing, QC, shipping, sanitation, and management teams. Responsibilities Purchase raw materials, packaging materials, operational supplies, maintenance items, and approved company purchases Communicate with suppliers regarding pricing, lead times, deliveries, shortages, and order updates Verify incoming inventory against purchase orders, packing slips, invoices, and receiving documentation Ensure quantities, lot numbers, expiration dates, and materials are accurate before inventory is accepted Help maintain accurate inventory organization and inventory accountability Support receiving, inventory checks, inventory organization, and operational material coordination Coordinate with manufacturing, QC, shipping, and management regarding material needs and operational priorities Help track maintenance scheduling, repairs, service activities, and operational equipment support Maintain organized purchasing, receiving, and inventory records Assist with operational support activities when needed Qualifications Purchasing, inventory, warehouse, manufacturing, or operational support experience preferred Strong organization and communication skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Basic computer and spreadsheet knowledge Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Comfortable working in both office and operational environments Forklift experience is a plus but not required Workplace Expectations Maintain professionalism, organization, and teamwork Follow company SOPs, safety requirements, and workplace procedures Maintain clean and organized work areas Communicate operational concerns, shortages, or inventory issues promptly Support overall operational flow and company teamwork Position Details Full-Time On-Site Position Manufacturing & Warehouse Environment Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, hands-on, dependable, and comfortable supporting fast-paced manufacturing operations while helping maintain purchasing organization, inventory accuracy, and operational support throughout the facility.
