Job Summary We are seeking a Tenacious and Highly Resourceful Laboratory Inventory & Logistics Specialist to join our team on-site in Englewood. In this role, you will play a critical, hands-on role in setting up, maintaining, and executing our daily inventory and stock-room operations, while also coordinating crucial local logistics. This includes field operations such as assisting with specimen pickup from select collection sites in the Aurora area . We are looking for a process-driven execution expert who comes with proven experience maintaining inventory accuracy. Execute the setup, daily maintenance, and optimization of our inventory tracking software and stock-room layouts to support our fast-paced laboratory workflow.
Specimen Pickup & Courier Support:
Actively assist with the secure, timely pickup and transport of patient specimens from a few dedicated collection sites in the Aurora area, ensuring full protocol adherence.
Daily Supply Chain Execution:
Follow strict standard operating procedures (SOPs) for ordering, receiving, unpacking, stocking, and distributing laboratory reagents, supplies, and equipment.
Logistics & Vendor Coordination:
Coordinate directly with supply vendors and logistics couriers to track delivery schedules, verify incoming shipments, and resolve supply chain disruptions proactively.
Quality & Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure all daily inventory and field transport practices meet the highest standards possible, maintaining flawless data integrity and compliance with storage guidelines (including temperature-sensitive items and shelf-life tracking).
Extreme Ownership & Follow-Up:
Monitor reorder points, conduct regular physical counts/audits, and rigorously self-manage stock levels to prevent waste, tracking variances down to final resolution without needing constant supervision.

Qualifications 2+ years of experience specializing in inventory control, purchasing, warehouse organization, or supply chain logistics . Valid Colorado Driver's License and a clean driving record. Reliable personal vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage to handle specimen pickups in the Aurora area (mileage/travel expenses reimbursed). Demonstrated experience implementing, expanding, or utilizing modern inventory tracking systems or digital workflows. Exceptional ability to self-manage, multi-task, prioritize daily tasks, and meticulously follow up on purchase orders and shipping delays. Clear, concise, and professional verbal and written communication skills. Proficient with modern inventory management software, Excel, and automated tracking tools (barcoding/RFID experience is a plus). Ability to stand/walk for extended periods, navigate a laboratory stock room, and lift up to 40 lbs. Preferred Skills Previous experience working with inventory or logistics within a healthcare, medical, hospital, biotech, or clinical laboratory setting is highly preferred but not required. Basic familiarity with healthcare logistics nuances, such as cold-chain management (refrigerated/frozen goods) and regulatory expirations.
