Inventory Specialist / Material Handler | Cape Canaveral, FL Superior Skilled Trades is seeking experienced Inventory Specialists and Material Handlers for a long-term project in Cape Canaveral, Florida . We are looking for candidates with strong inventory, material handling, warehouse, and organizational skills . Experience accurately tracking, receiving, moving, and organizing materials is highly valued.

of our open positions are NIGHT SHIFT, Monday-Friday. We have very limited openings on day shift and weekend shifts.

NIGHT SHIFT - M-F

$27/HR 6:00 PM-4:30 AM | Approximately 50 hours/week

DAY SHIFT - M-F

$25/HR 6:00 AM-4:30 PM | Approximately 50 hours/week

WEEKEND AM

$25/HR Friday-Monday | 6:00 AM-6:30 PM

WEEKEND PM

$27/HR Friday-Monday | 6:00 PM-6:30 AM Ideal candidates are flexible and willing to work any available shift. Please understand that while we have multiple shift options, most current openings are on the Monday-Friday night shift .

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for dependable, detail-oriented Inventory Specialists and Material Handlers who can accurately manage materials and inventory while helping wherever needed. This position involves working both indoors and outdoors in Florida weather , including heat, humidity, and changing weather conditions. Strong inventory and material handling skills, attention to detail, honesty, good communication, and a strong work ethic are extremely important. Experience with the company's specific inventory system is not required— training will be provided . Forklift and cherry picker experience is preferred but not required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory duties Track, locate, receive, and move materials using handheld scanners Accurately read and verify labels, part numbers, quantities, and inventory information Maintain accurate inventory records Organize and place materials in designated locations Load, unload, organize, and move materials throughout storage areas Operate forklifts, cherry pickers, and other material-handling equipment as needed Monitor inventory levels and help identify discrepancies Work both indoors and outdoors in Florida weather Assist with general warehouse and material-handling duties Follow all safety procedures and immediately report accidents, damage, or safety concerns Maintain open and honest communication with leadership Immediately report mistakes, damaged materials, or inventory discrepancies Learn new equipment, processes, and inventory systems

REQUIREMENTS

Strong inventory and material handling experience preferred Valid driver's license - REQUIRED Reliable personal transportation - REQUIRED Must be able to pass a federal background check Comfortable using handheld scanners and basic technology Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately read labels and part numbers Ability to accurately track and organize inventory and materials Ability to work indoors and outdoors Ability to work overtime as required Forklift/cherry picker experience is a plus, but training may be provided Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to learn Positive attitude and strong work ethic are a must Must be honest and communicate openly with supervisors Flexibility to work different shifts is strongly preferred
