Job Description Summary Axion BioSystems is seeking a seasonal, part-time, hourly Logistics and Inventory Control Specialist , who will manage customer shipments, shipment resolution, receiving, storage, and maintain accurate records of inventory within the ERP system . The ideal candidate will have a proactive, hands-on mindset for continuous improvement and streamlining processes, with a high level of organization. The work environment is climate controlled (in office) and team oriented. This role is onsite and will be approximately 20 to 30 hours per week and span September 2026 to January 2027 at the latest.
Responsibilities:
  • Pick and pack inventory in preparation for shipping
  • Ship all outbound customer orders
  • Resolve any international or domestic shipment issues when needed
  • Palletize and ship trade show/marketing material
  • Generate FedEx labels for returns and ad-hoc demo/loaner shipments
  • Receive and put away inbound material
  • Remove waste and recycle material
  • Perform weekly cycle counts of inventory and ensure accuracy to the ERP system
  • Refill stock from offsite warehouses
  • Validate, organize and physically condense warehouse material and storage locations
  • Organize/Optimize inventory storage areas by labeling, right sizing shelving and bins
  • Label bins or shelves with Part description and PN
  • Maintain accurate inventory data in ERP system
  • Identify areas for improvement and optimization of physical storage, recommend potential solutions and implement solutions that are approved
  • Handle any non-conforming (NC) materials and ensure proper separation from good inventory
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years previous warehouse experience
  • Previous experience with ERP system
  • Proactive mindset with drive for continuous improvement
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
  • Proficiency in use of computers and software (Excel, ERP, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational, time management and communication skills.
  • Must be a US citizen or have permanent resident status (position is not eligible for work visa sponsorship) Why Axion?

Pay:
$22.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 30.0 per week
