Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-driven Warehouse Inventory Specialist to join our logistics and supply chain team. This role is pivotal in managing inventory levels, optimizing warehouse operations, and ensuring seamless coordination across procurement, distribution, and shipping functions. Duties Oversee daily warehouse distribution activities, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely order fulfillment. Utilize warehouse management software and ERP systems such as AS400 and SAP to track inventory movements and update records. Conduct data mining and analysis using tools like Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and SQL to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvements. Perform root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies or stock shortages to implement corrective actions. Manage procurement processes by sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, and maintaining supplier relationships. Coordinate logistics operations including shipping & receiving, materials handling, and materials management to optimize workflow. Support demand planning and category management initiatives through data collection, forecasting accuracy, and inventory stocking strategies. Execute inventory control procedures using barcode scanning, cycle counting, and physical audits to maintain accuracy. Collaborate cross-functionally with merchandising, production planning, finance, and procurement teams for seamless operations. Analyze financial data related to pricing strategies, financial modeling, and supply chain analytics to inform decision-making. Experience Proven experience in warehouse operations or inventory management within a supply chain environment. Strong familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP platforms such as SAP or AS400, and inventory management software. Demonstrated skills in data analysis using Excel (including data visualization), SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or Nielsen tools. Experience with procurement processes including sourcing negotiations and supplier management. Knowledge of logistics inventory management practices such as shipping & receiving, materials handling, and demand planning. Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement process improvements effectively. Technical proficiency in using spreadsheets for financial analysis, pricing strategies, and data collection. Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration across diverse teams. Physical ability for heavy lifting when required in materials handling tasks.
