The Equipment Inventory Specialist is a pivotal role within our Listing Operations teams, contributing to the seamless management of incoming work and ensuring the success of Purple Wave's auction platform. Operating from our Manhattan, KS office, this role involves proactive decision-making, cross-departmental communication, and a commitment to upholding Purple Wave's core values and goals. As part of a self-forming and cross-functional team environment, the Equipment Inventory Specialist collaborates closely with colleagues to achieve departmental objectives and maintain operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

Quality Control:

Ensure all submissions and items meet quality standards, including digital asset presentation, completeness of descriptions, formatting, and transferability of assets.

Item Ownership and Marketability:

Guarantee the marketability and clear ownership path of each asset listed on purplewave.com.

Problem Solving:

Independently solve item or opportunity level issues, understanding the importance of prioritization and effective problem-solving techniques.

Team Collaboration:

Act as an active team member, facilitating knowledge sharing and ensuring daily tasks and departmental goals are achieved within a cross-functional Listing Operations team structure.

Compliance:

Review and assess contracts and other legal documents to ensure legal and regulatory compliance for the transfer of ownership.

Operational Excellence:

Quality Control:

Enforce operating practices, review Data Capture Checklists, and update training materials and protocols as necessary to maintain quality standards.

Auction Management:
