This is an important position in our operation. Your primary responsibility will be to thoroughly inspect incoming vehicles and identify all valuable, sellable parts before the vehicle is dismantled.

Responsibilities include:

Inspect and inventory newly arrived vehicles Identify engines, transmissions, drivetrain components, body parts, electronics, interior parts, and other sellable components Identify vehicle options and equipment accurately Determine which parts should be removed and stocked Grade parts accurately based on condition and damage Take clear photographs of vehicles and parts Enter inventory accurately into our computer system Verify VINs, mileage, vehicle information, and drivetrain information Make sure valuable parts and options are not overlooked Communicate with dismantlers and other team members about parts that need to be removed Maintain accurate and consistent inventory records

Preferred Experience:

Automotive knowledge is required. Previous experience with Copart, IAA, LKQ, automotive recycling/salvage, dealership parts departments, collision estimating, mechanical repair, or automotive parts inventory is strongly preferred. Experience with Hollander Interchange or Powerlink is a major plus, but we are willing to train the right person who has strong automotive knowledge. We are looking for someone who: Knows cars and automotive parts Is comfortable using computers and tablets Pays close attention to detail Can identify vehicle options and components Works efficiently without sacrificing accuracy Is dependable and shows up ready to work Takes pride in doing the job correctly Can work independently once trained

Pay:

Competitive and based on automotive/inventory experience.

Schedule:
