We're looking for an Inventory Receiving Specialist to play a key role in our fast-paced third-party logistics (3PL) operation. In this position, you'll be the first point of contact for incoming inventory, ensuring products are received accurately, stored efficiently, and available to support our customers' success. You'll work closely with warehouse operations, customer support, and inventory management teams to help deliver exceptional service while contributing to continuous process improvements. What You'll Do As an Inventory Receiving Specialist, you will: Receive and process customer inventory and packaging materials accurately and efficiently. Verify inbound shipments against documentation and inspect products for accuracy and quality. Update inventory records and storage locations in the warehouse management system. Load and unload trucks, parcel carriers, containers and other inbound shipments safely and efficiently. Help maintain an organized warehouse by supporting proper bin locations and inventory placement. Monitor inventory levels and proactively communicate low-stock or out-of-stock situations. Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure inventory accuracy. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies related to receiving activities. Communicate receiving status, exceptions, and open issues with management and customer support teams. Collaborate with warehouse, fulfillment, and customer service teams to ensure smooth operations. Identify opportunities to improve receiving processes, efficiency, and accuracy. Support cross-training initiatives and assist in other warehouse functions as business needs require. What We're Looking For 1-2 years of experience in inventory control, receiving, warehouse operations, or a related field. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to prioritize tasks and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Ability to safely lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Basic computer skills and experience working with inventory or warehouse management systems. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a 3PL, fulfillment, distribution, or logistics environment. Forklift certification or experience operating material-handling equipment. Experience investigating and reconciling inventory discrepancies.
