Are you passionate about keeping operations running smoothly behind the scenes? Join Meritus Medical Center as an Inventory Control Specialist and play a vital role in ensuring our clinical teams have the supplies they need—when they need them. What You'll Do Monitor and manage inventory levels across acute care departments Collaborate with supply chain teams to optimize stock and reduce waste Use data to adjust min/max levels and improve supply efficiency Organize and inspect supply areas for cleanliness, compliance, and expiration dates Support product conversions and new item placements based on clinical needs Order, receive, and track supplies using our ERP system Identify recalled or expiring items and coordinate action plans What You Bring High school diploma or GED required; college coursework in supply chain or business preferred 3+ years of experience in inventory management, distribution, or customer service Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Word and Excel Excellent communication and organizational abilities Why It Matters This role ensures our hospital departments are stocked efficiently and safely, directly impacting patient care and operational stability.
