Job Description

Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic supply chain team. In this vital role, you will oversee the accuracy and efficiency of inventory management processes across our warehouse operations. Your expertise will ensure optimal stock levels, streamline procurement activities, and support overall logistics functions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to process improvements, leverage data analytics, and collaborate across departments to enhance supply chain performance. Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and streamline operations Develop and implement strategies for optimizing supply chain processes Coordinate logistics activities to ensure timely delivery of goods Coordinate physical inventory audits, to be done on a set schedule Prepare and provide various inventory reports Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive BOMs for new and existing products, ensuring documentation aligns with engineering and production requirements Update and manage BOM data within the company's systems, ensuring information is accurate and reflects current product configurations Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment Other duties assigned by supervisor Must have a demonstrated record of professionalism, cooperation, and excellent communication Involves clerical, analytical, and organizational skills Able to handle confidential information Involves collection, organization, processing, verifying and filing of required paperwork Ability to work under the pressure of deadlines Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Adherence to the company attendance policy is required, which includes expectations of punctuality and limited unapproved absences Involves extensive keyboard operation and regular use of office equipment Position involves both sedentary and physically active work High School Diploma or equivalent Manufacturing experience, with experience related to bill of materials, routes, costing, or inventory in a manufacturing environment preferred Strong computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Strong knowledge of order fulfillment processes and supply chain management principles Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail Willingness to travel.
