An Inventory or Supply Specialist specializes in tracking and managing inventory and supplies to improve production or distribution at a company or organization. Manages purchase orders, or distribution of materials between different centers of a large company.

The Inventory Specialist Position:
To assist its growing business, Midland Tool is seeking to hire an Inventory Specialist that will assist in ensuring proper operation within Midland's high activity warehouses. Midland expects this individual to managing inventory, including labeling, bin selection, placement, cycle counting, and light assembly. Successful Inventory Specialist have an upbeat attitude and provide innovative solutions to meet the needs of Midland's growing customer base and organizational needs.
Responsibilities:
Conduct regular inventory audits, physical counts, and cycle counts to maintain 100% data accuracy. Receive incoming shipments, verifying quantities and item conditions against purchase orders and packing slips. Organize storage areas, warehouses for efficiently to optimize space and ensure fast retrieval. Investigate inventory discrepancies, reporting damaged, missing, or expired goods to the management team. Pick, pack, and prepare accurate outgoing orders for shipment, transfer, or customer delivery. Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Experience:
1-3 years of warehouse experience At least 1-2 years of industry experience Ability to problem solve on the job Skills and experience in tracking inventory Ability to maintain schedule flexibility to meet job needs Microsoft Office and general computer experience, will provide training Ability to multitask initiatives
