Job Description Position Title:
Inventory Control Specialist Wage:
$18/hour
Shift:
Day or Night Hours:
7:00am-7:00pm or 7:00pm-7:00am, Must be flexible to work on weekends We are currently seeking candidates for our Inventory Control Specialist position in Birmingham, MO. Qualified candidates must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation (will need vehicle for entire shift). This role requires flexibility to work weekends as needed and involves working outdoors in various weather conditions. This is a temporary role on day or night shift. Inventory Control Specialist Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Review passed on updates from previous shift and conduct perimeter checks once an hour
  • Stay awake and alert for full shift (failure to do so will result in termination)
  • Collect paperwork and notate what is coming/going from lot (must check verification before allowing anyone on lot)
  • Use scheduling application to confirm schedule and additional team members on the same lot
  • Hit button to open and close gate, following lot specific procedures
Driver Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate a company, personal, or customer vehicle, following traffic laws and safety policies
  • Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report any issues
  • Ensure safe employee entry/exit and follow assigned routes
  • Maintain a clean vehicle and report incidents promptly
Passenger Responsibilities:
  • Follow safety guidelines, including wearing a seatbelt
  • Enter/exit safely and assist with directions if needed
  • Avoid distractions and report unsafe conditions
  • Prepared to move vehicles upon arrival
Inventory Control Specialist Requirements:
  • Ability to sit for entire shift, stay awake, and walk around lot
  • Must have own vehicle to use during full shift
  • Valid driver's license and able to pass an MVR background check
  • Possess a Smart/Android phone to download mobile applications that are required
  • Customer service experience preferred
