Greensboro, NC Pay and Hours $17.00hr Monday thru Friday 8:00am- 5:00pm Full Time | Hourly We are hiring a dependable Driver / Inventory Specialist to assist with transporting, documenting, and handling household contents for fire and water damage restoration projects. This position requires safe driving, attention to detail, physical capability, and professionalism. You'll help inventory and transport customers' belongings during stressful situations, so accuracy, care, and respect are essential.
Responsibilities:
Drive company box trucks or standard company vehicles to and from job sites Photograph, document, and inventory customers' household contents Accurately label and track items using company inventory software Assist with safely loading and unloading boxes, furniture, and other contents Keep company vehicles, equipment, and warehouse areas clean and organized
Requirements:
Valid driver's license with clean driving record Able to lift 50 to 75 lbs consistently Reliable and punctual Strong teamwork skills Bilingual English and Spanish preferred but not required Moving or restoration experience preferred but not required Monday through Friday with occasional overtime. Competitive hourly pay based on experience. We do not currently offer benefits. What We Do We are a comprehensive contents cleaning and restoration company. Clients seek us out after fire, water, mold, or other damage —it's a very sensitive situation they're facing, so we work hard to make the restoration process seamless and stress free. Who We Hire We look for individuals with skills such as truck driving, warehousing, sewing, woodworking, crafting, cleaning, and other restoration-related activities. We also know that not everyone comes to us with these skills. That's why we put each specialist—those with or without training—through an in-depth and comprehensive training program. Each member learns the entire contents restoration process while honing in on their specific cleaning or restoration skills. It's all a part of our ongoing support and training experience. Job Summary This position is responsible to provide operational support in remediation efforts for client content. Main functions will include performing tasks related to contents cleaning, deodorizing, manipulation, and storage. This position will be required to use a variety of specialized equipment and cleaning chemicals under supervision. Responsibilities Maintaining equipment used in daily tasks Perform Dry and Wet mitigation/pre-cleaning using accepted procedures Manipulate contents at the client site to allow for the remediation crew to perform required tasks Correctly wrap and package contents to prevent damage during transport Transport contents to cleaning facility for cleaning and storage Adhere to MSDS recognized standards Perform daily vehicle safety and maintenance inspections and maintain in clean serviceable condition Must have a comprehensive understanding of customer service, principles, and practices Qualifications Construction, restoration, or insurance industry experience preferred Must be able to identify Product (consumables), usage, and disposal requirements with training Eligible to operate a motor vehicle per vehicle policy Possess a sense of urgency, professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong work ethic Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Comprehensive understanding of customer service principles and practices Physical Requirements Frequent lifting in excess of 50 lbs Access and mobility in tight spaces The JobSquad Solutions Team is made up of experts around the country.
