Job Description

The Opportunity:
The Inventory and Materials Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting production operations by ensuring materials are, staged, tracked, and delivered accurately and efficiently. This role is responsible for maintaining material flow, supporting inventory accuracy, and working cross-functionally with production and shipping teams. A typical day includes staging materials, communicating with operators, tracking usage in systems, managing finished goods inventory and ensuring all safety and operational procedures are followed. Stage materials for production jobs based on job tickets and schedules Track material usage Communicate and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials Follow standard operating procedures, work instructions, and GMP requirements Operate forklifts safely and in accordance with company standards Adhere to all safety policies and procedures Support cycle counts and annual physical inventory processes Investigate and help resolve inventory discrepancies Manage Finished Good inventory by receiving the inventory, picking, and packing Manage time effectively to meet operational deadlines
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
The role requires standing, sitting, mobility, and use of hands for extended periods. Employees must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and work in a loud environment with exposure to moving mechanical parts.
