Job Description
Summary Inventory Specialists shall manage stock levels, tracking inventory movement, and ensuring accurate recordkeeping across warehouse. Skilled in using inventory management systems, conducting audits, and coordinating with purchasing and operations teams to maintain optimal stock levels. Responsibilities Support material resource planning and warehouse operations through ensuring accuracy of on hand materials in the inventory system, physically complete inventory counts, investigate and correct discrepancies, and identify inventory to be placed on hold. Conduct physical inventory counts at the end of production, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually. Implement inventory control procedures to reduce waste, improve accuracy, and ensure inventory is maintained based on first in first out (FIFO) and first expiration first out (FEFO). Complete investigations into discrepancies such as shortages, damage, misplacement, or overages. Collaborate with production, logistics, warehouse, and planning. Ensure data entry into the enterprise resource planning systems while maintaining the integrity of the system. Provide accurate reporting of on-hand quantities and resolve any discrepancies identified. Prepare inventory reports for management, audits, and production planning. Discrepancies are rectified through verification of receipt, open purchase orders, shipments, tracking/tracing orders shipped and pending receipt, verify transactions logged in the ERP system, and product in process. Promote a culture of safety and reporting any unsafe conditions, equipment malfunctions or potential hazards immediately. Maintain safe and clean working environment by performing housekeeping complying with GMPs SQF HAACP, LOTO and general workplace safety Must maintain accurate documentation that is legible, and organized Must follow good manufacturing practices Must ensure food safety and quality are maintained by following regulations and company guidelines Participate in ongoing training related to job duties, safety, equipment operation, and product handling. Required Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age or older Preferred Qualifications Education / Certificates High School Diploma or Equivalent Physical Requirements Prolonged standing of 6 or more hours Ability to perform repetitious work. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to stand up to 80% of shift. Squatting, and pushing/pulling up to 30% of shift. Twisting, grasping, reaching, turning, stooping, and lifting up to 80% of shift. Repetitive Tasks and motions Operation of pallet jacks and/or forklift operation

Work areas consist of both indoor and outdoor warehouse setting, concrete flooring, moderate noise levels, and led lighting Fast paced Automated machinery and equipment for processing and production Warehouse is not climate controlled; temperatures very based on seasonal changes providing exposure to heat, cold, humidity and dust
Expected Hours:
Variable shifts; production lines run 24 hours / 7 days a week and requires all employees to have open availability, including but not limited to working weekends, evenings, holidays

From $21.00 per hour
