Job Description

We are seeking a technician with basic experience working with Nortel phone systems to assist with equipment inventory and support activities. The ideal candidate should be familiar with Nortel telecommunications hardware and capable of accurately identifying, documenting, and inventorying network and telephony equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform inventory of Nortel phone switch equipment and related telecommunications hardware. Identify, label, and document Nortel equipment, including chassis, cards, modules, and peripherals. Maintain accurate inventory records and asset documentation. Assist with equipment audits, asset verification, and reconciliation. Support basic installation, decommissioning, and relocation of Nortel telephony equipment as needed. Coordinate with project teams to ensure inventory accuracy. Follow site safety and operational procedures.
Required Qualifications:
Basic hands-on experience with Nortel phone switch systems. Ability to identify and inventory Nortel telecommunications equipment. Familiarity with telecom racks, patch panels, and cabling. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to lift and move telecommunications equipment when required. Good communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Nortel PBX/CS1000, Meridian, or BCM systems. Previous telecom, field service, or data center experience. Experience using asset management or inventory tracking tools.
Pay:
$28.41 - $34.22 per hour Application Question(s): Are you open for 12 hours per day and weekends to complete a large audit of a company's multi-floor Nortel infrastructure(from August 3 to August 13)
