$22.00-$23.00 per hour, depending on experience Little Trouble is looking for an experienced Inventory Controller to own inventory accuracy and day-to-day inventory operations within our Reno warehouse. This is a hands-on warehouse role for someone who understands inventory inside and out — receiving, returns processing, putaway, cycle counts, discrepancies, transfers, organization, and maintaining accurate inventory across a high-volume operation. A minimum of 2 years of direct inventory management or inventory control experience is required. No exceptions. Responsibilities Own inventory accuracy across the warehouse Manage and oversee all inbound receiving Verify received quantities against purchase orders and packing documents Identify and resolve receiving discrepancies, shortages, overages, and damages Ensure inventory is properly received, labeled, located, and entered into the system Manage and process customer returns from receipt through final disposition Inspect returned merchandise for condition, damage, wear, or missing components Determine whether returned product should be restocked, damaged out, quarantined, or otherwise dispositioned Ensure all returned inventory is accurately updated in the inventory system Identify and resolve discrepancies related to returned merchandise Maintain an organized and efficient returns processing area Perform regular cycle counts and lead ongoing inventory accuracy programs Research and reconcile inventory discrepancies Maintain accurate SKU quantities and warehouse locations Monitor inventory movement between receiving, storage, picking, packing, returns, and other warehouse areas Maintain organized and efficient inventory locations Assist with slotting and warehouse organization as inventory and product assortment changes Manage damaged, missing, returned, and quarantined inventory Support physical inventory counts when required Identify recurring inventory issues and implement processes to prevent them Work closely with warehouse leadership and fulfillment teams to maintain inventory accuracy Assist with picking, packing, receiving, replenishment, returns, and other warehouse tasks when needed Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment Required Experience Minimum 2 years of professional inventory management, inventory control, or warehouse inventory experience — required Extensive experience with receiving and inbound inventory Extensive experience performing and managing cycle counts Experience processing and reconciling customer returns Strong understanding of inventory reconciliation and discrepancy investigation Experience working with SKUs, warehouse locations, barcode scanning, and inventory systems Strong general warehouse experience, including receiving, picking, packing, putaway, replenishment, returns, and organization Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse Strong attention to detail and accuracy Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of inventory problems from start to resolution Basic computer and spreadsheet proficiency Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to bend, reach, lift, and move inventory throughout the warehouse Ability to regularly lift packages and cartons associated with warehouse operations Who We're Looking For You are someone who notices when inventory is off and doesn't ignore it. You like organized shelves, accurate counts, clean receiving and returns processes, and knowing exactly where product is and why. You understand that inventory accuracy affects everything downstream — fulfillment speed, customer experience, purchasing, reporting, and warehouse efficiency. This is not an entry-level inventory position. Applicants without at least 2 years of relevant inventory experience will not be considered.
