We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to join our team. This individual will play a vital role in ensuring accurate inventory management, fulfilling customer orders, and maintaining the operational flow of our dispensary.
Position Overview:
As a Vault Technician, you will be responsible for managing the inventory within our secure vault, ensuring that all products are logged, tracked, and stored in compliance with state regulations. This role also includes fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently. This position requires an organized, tech-savvy individual with experience in inventory management and a strong attention to detail. You will also need to be available on weekends to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately manage and track inventory within the vault, ensuring that all cannabis products are logged correctly and are in compliance with legal requirements. Fulfill customer orders, ensuring products are picked, packed, and prepared for pickup or delivery in a timely manner. Perform routine inventory counts and reconcile physical inventory with system records. Maintain detailed records of all incoming and outgoing product shipments, including cannabis flower, concentrates, edibles, and other related products. Enter data into inventory management software and maintain up-to-date spreadsheets. Ensure the safe and secure handling of all cannabis products, adhering to security protocols and regulatory standards. Assist with periodic audits and resolve discrepancies as needed. Report any inventory issues, discrepancies, or damaged goods to the management team. Assist with inventory replenishment and track product expiration dates. Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper product availability and timely stock updates. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or questions related to orders or product availability. Be available to work on weekends as required by the dispensary's schedule.
Requirements:
Prior experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or similar roles (preferably within the cannabis industry). Strong proficiency with computers, including experience using inventory management systems, spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets), and data entry. Ability to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently. Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in all tasks. Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize. Knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and terminology is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members. Reliable transportation Availability to work nights and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience with inventory management software, spreadsheets etc... Familiarity with cannabis regulatory requirements and compliance standard s.
