This role is vital in ensuring seamless inventory control, optimizing supply chain processes, and supporting efficient laboratory operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong data analytics skills, experience with warehouse and supply chain management, and a proactive approach to process improvement. Duties Manage and monitor laboratory inventory levels using advanced warehouse management systems and ERP platforms such as AS400 or similar software. Coordinate procurement activities by sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, and managing contracts to ensure timely delivery of supplies. Conduct data mining and analysis using tools like Power BI, Tableau, Excel data analysis, and Nielsen reports to forecast demand and optimize stock levels. Perform root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies or supply chain issues to implement effective corrective actions. Oversee shipping & receiving processes, including order fulfillment, materials handling, heavy lifting, and logistics coordination with 3PL providers. Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, stock movements, and materials management activities through spreadsheets and inventory management software. Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, warehouse operations, production planning, and merchandising teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Skills Extensive experience in warehouse distribution, warehouse management systems (WMS), and inventory control practices. Strong negotiation skills for sourcing suppliers and managing contracts effectively. Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel (including advanced data analysis), and data visualization techniques. Knowledge of supply chain management principles including demand planning, logistics inventory management, procurement strategies, and materials handling. Technical proficiency with ERP systems like AS400 or equivalent platforms; familiarity with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems is a plus. Ability to perform root cause analysis and process improvement initiatives within warehouse operations or supply chain workflows. Experience with shipping & receiving procedures, heavy lifting safety protocols, and materials management in a laboratory or industrial setting. Strong communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration; adept at data collection, financial analysis, pricing strategies, and supplier management. Familiarity with e-commerce logistics processes and contract negotiations related to supply chain activities.
