Inventory and Supply Specialist Reset Group - 3.3 Maumee, OH Job Details Full-time $18 - $24 an hour 15 hours ago Qualifications Forklift Certification Forklift Material handling equipment operation Full Job Description This role has the primary task of ensuring materials are supplied where and when they are needed for both LivingSpace lines (lineals and windows), both the Porch Conversions lines (vertical slider and HSSL), and the LS/PC shipping area. This role is responsible for keeping workstations fully stocked with materials, ultimately contributing to overall higher productivity of other workers. This person will be required to be knowledgeable about all the processes surrounding the materials and tools they manage. They will travel from workstation to workstation, checking each in a regular rotation to ease the flow of production and ensure continuous productivity.
Responsibilities:
Take various materials, parts, and assemblies from the staging locations to proper production area Replenish materials and tools as needed or if found to be defective Manage component binsàensuring that component bins are in their designated storage area and that all such bins on the line are filled to capacity Ensure proper communication among individuals, teams, and work areas Identify inefficiencies and reduce slowdowns in production Create and maintain standardized processes for this role's regular tasks This person would be responsible for inventory cycle counts for all departments weekly, biweekly, or monthly Upkeep and organization of material warehouse/inventory storage areas (general tidiness) Able to perform all functions of receiving materials from a vendor; unload, put away (may include forklift operation), sign, copy, and upload documents to Accounting Weekly supply orders for small tools and supplies NC transfer truck coordination: Pull and organize material list for our NC Plant Other duties as needed or assigned
Requirements:
Self-starter and largely self-directed Able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted Forklift certification—must already be certified or acquire certification within 90 days of hire Ability to work autonomously Existing or ability to obtain proficient knowledge of all 3 work areas to be covered, including the processes, tooling, and materials (specific certifications in the area are not required) Keen eye for detail
