Everett, WA Position Overview The Logistics Specialist - Inventory supports aircraft maintenance operations by managing parts inventory and assembling organized repair and upgrade kits for mechanics. This role includes receiving materials, counting and recording parts, and building kits using detailed instructions. This is a contract position with the potential to convert to full‑time. Key Responsibilities
  • Receive incoming aircraft parts, break down crates, and unbox materials safely
  • Count and verify parts against documentation and inventory records
  • Sort and organize parts by type, condition, and usage
  • Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory reconciliations
  • Record quantities, locations, and kit contents with accuracy
  • Follow detailed instructions to pick components and build complete repair/upgrade kits
  • Pack and prepare kits so they are ready for mechanics to use
  • Use basic hand tools for uncrating, unboxing, and preparing materials
  • Coordinate with warehouse and repair teams to prioritize kitting needs
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Required Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience in operational or clerical tasks
  • Experience with inventory, cycle counts, packing, kitting, and parts handling
  • Ability to use basic tools safely
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Ability to read detailed instructions and long part numbers accurately
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy Preferred Qualifications
  • Forklift experience

Your accuracy and organization help ensure safe, efficient repair operations. The role offers stable weekday shifts, opportunities for additional shift coverage, and the potential to transition from contract to full‑time. You'll be part of a supportive team that values reliability, safety, and precision. Work Environment This position is located in an aircraft MRO warehouse and repair area with active parts handling, kitting stations, and material flow. Primary schedule is Monday-Friday, 05:00-14:00, with occasional coverage needed on a second shift from 13:00-21:30. The work is physical and fast‑paced, involving lifting, moving materials, and using basic tools in a warehouse setting focused on safety and organization. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Everett, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.57 - $23.57/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
