Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Inventory Specialist-Fulfillment to join our fast-paced logistics and supply chain team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, optimizing warehouse operations, and ensuring seamless order fulfillment. Responsibilities Oversee warehouse distribution activities, including stock stocking, materials handling, and shipping & receiving operations. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms such as AS400 and SAP to track inventory levels, process transactions, and generate reports. Conduct data mining and analysis using tools like Power BI, Tableau, Excel, SQL, and Nielsen data to identify trends, forecast demand, and support demand planning initiatives. Perform root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies or process inefficiencies to implement effective solutions. Manage procurement activities by sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and overseeing pricing strategies to optimize costs. Collaborate cross-functionally with merchandising, logistics, procurement, and production teams to align inventory strategies with business goals. Lead process improvement projects focused on enhancing warehouse operations, inventory control accuracy, and supply chain analytics. Skills Strong experience in warehouse distribution, inventory management software, and warehouse operations. Proficiency with ERP systems (such as AS400 or SAP), data visualization tools (Power BI or Tableau), and Excel data analysis for financial modeling and reporting. Expertise in logistics inventory management, demand planning, sourcing, procurement negotiations, and category management. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis and utilize data analytics for decision-making. Knowledge of materials handling equipment including forklift operation; familiarity with heavy lifting procedures required for materials movement. Ability to interpret complex data sets using SQL or other data collection tools; strong math skills for financial analysis and pricing strategies. Effective communication skills for collaborating across departments; experience in supply chain management and contract negotiations is preferred. Technical proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP platforms like MRPs (Material Requirements Planning), and supply chain analytics tools such as Tableau or Nielsen datasets.
