About the Role Rasmussen Diamonds is seeking an organized, analytical, and proactive Inventory Specialist to lead inventory operations as we expand into a two-store organization. This is far more than a traditional inventory position. We're looking for someone who thinks critically, takes ownership, and continuously looks for ways to improve processes and drive efficiency. You'll work closely with leadership, helping ensure inventory accuracy while providing valuable insight that supports purchasing decisions, pricing strategies, and overall business performance. As Rasmussen Diamonds continues to grow, this role offers the opportunity to expand your responsibilities, make a lasting impact on the business, and grow alongside a company entering an exciting new chapter. Key Responsibilities Oversee inventory operations for both retail locations, ensuring accurate receiving, pricing, reporting, special orders, rapid reorders, and inventory maintenance. Analyze inventory performance, identify inventory trends, support stock-balancing efforts, and recommend process improvements that enhance operational efficiency. Build and maintain strong vendor relationships while coordinating orders, inventory needs, and product availability. Assist with showroom merchandising, daily store setup, inventory reporting, and maintaining an organized, presentation-ready sales floor. Support inventory management beyond jewelry by helping oversee operational supplies and contributing wherever needed to ensure the success of the business. Collaborate closely with leadership to improve inventory systems, support company goals, and help drive long-term growth. What We're Looking For Minimum of 3 years of inventory management or inventory specialist experience Jewelry industry experience is highly preferred but not required Experience in other detail-oriented, inventory-intensive industries is welcomed Strong organizational and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Professional, dependable, and self-motivated A collaborative team player who contributes to a positive workplace culture Comfortable learning jewelry products and inventory systems A proactive problem solver who takes ownership rather than waiting for direction Someone who enjoys improving processes and helping a business grow Interest in building a long-term career with opportunities for professional growth Schedule Full-time Monday through Friday Approximately 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Based primarily at our Mount Pleasant showroom Occasional travel to our second location, approximately 45 minutes away, may be required. Compensation & Benefits $20.00 to $27.00 per hour, based on experience and expertise.
