Job Description

Shop & Yard Helper - Full Time A&B Trucking Services is hiring a dependable Shop & Yard Helper for our Bakersfield facility.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 10:30 a.m.-7:00 p.m.
Pay:
$16.90 per hour
Overtime:
Mandatory as needed
Primary Duties:
Fuel trucks at the end of each workday Sweep and clean the shop and yard Empty trash and maintain clean work areas Assist mechanics and other shop staff as directed Put away supplies, tools and materials Perform other general labor and cleanup duties as needed
What We're Looking For:
Dependable and punctual Able to work efficiently with limited supervision Takes initiative and stays productive without being reminded of every task Follows instructions and completes assigned work properly Comfortable working outdoors and around trucks, diesel fuel, dirt and grease Able to stand, walk, bend and lift up to 50 pounds Willing to work overtime when required Mechanical experience is not required.
