Responsibilities Assist delivery drivers with loading and unloading packages using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and carts Support route drivers in navigating delivery routes efficiently while adhering to traffic regulations and safety standards Help ensure safe lifting practices during the handling of heavy or bulky items, following DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and workplace weight handling guidelines Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries and pickups Support warehouse operations by organizing materials, preparing delivery loads, and maintaining accurate documentation of shipments Use mobile devices to communicate with the team, update delivery statuses, and follow route instructions Load and unload vehicles safely, ensuring proper placement of goods to prevent damage during transit Requirements Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is preferred Experience with commercial driving, especially box trucks or van drivers, is highly valued Proven delivery driver experience or courier background demonstrating safe driving practices Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and carts Strong understanding of adhering to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards for weight handling in the workplace Physical ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the shift Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and interacting with customers Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving is a plus Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels our success!
