Job Description

Assistant Mechanic - Classic Automotive Restoration Shop Pensacola, FL We're a busy classic automotive restoration shop looking for a motivated Assistant Mechanic to join our team. If you love cars, have a strong willingness to learn, and aren't afraid to get your hands dirty, this is a great opportunity to start a career in the classic car world! Some mechanical and painting skills required — we will train the right person on the job.
What You'll Do:
Assist our mechanics with repairs, maintenance, and restoration work on classic cars. Learn hands-on skills including engine work, suspension, brakes, electrical, and more.
Perform lot attendant duties:
cleaning, washing, detailing, and preparing vehicles for sale or delivery. Keep the shop and lot organized and presentable. Help with general shop tasks as needed.
What We're Looking For:
A positive attitude and strong work ethic Genuine interest in classic cars and a desire to learn the trade Ability to follow instructions and take direction well Reliability and punctuality Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions Valid driver's license and a clean driving record (a big plus) Must have some knowledge of mechanic and painting skills Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and be on your feet for long periods This is a full-time position with opportunities to grow as you gain experience.
Compensation:
Competitive hourly pay based on attitude and work ethic + overtime opportunities. Starting at $17 to $20 per hour. We have Vision, Dental, and Health insurance where the employer pays half. 401k eligible after one year with employer matching plans.
