We are looking for a motivated and reliable individual who can assist with our Grounds Maintenance/ Cemetery Operations at the Barrancas National Cemetery. This position will work as part of a team to install, maintain, and complete all Grounds and Headstone Operations required by National Veteran Cemetery Standards. You would be responsible for the maintenance of grounds, to include primarily mowing, as well as leaf removal, weed eating, edge trimming of roadways, removal of trash, sweeping/blowing off walkways and roadways, as well as any other duties assigned by the Project Manager. Must maintain a compassionate and respectful demeanor when interacting with grieving families. This position is a year-round position that requires a reliable and detail-oriented individual who can work diligently with a team. This position will be full-time with growth opportunities.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in grounds/ landscaping, or a similar field is preferred Ability to operate heavy machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be able to pass a Government background check to access
