Beet Receiving Station-Seasonal Laborer Amalgamated Sugar Company - Grandview, Idaho and Bruneau, Idaho Amalgamated Sugar Company is hiring seasonal workers for beet receiving stations. These six- to eight-week positions can lead to long-term factory careers. Assignments may include Receiving Station Crew, Piler Operator, Tare Sample, Field Loader Crew, and Scale House. Duties may include checking beet quality, tracking samples on a tablet, printing beet bag tickets, collecting sugar beet samples, and weighing inbound/outbound trucks. Positions start in mid-September, with later start dates available. Overtime opportunities are available. Pay starts at $17.93/hr. Essential Job Functions:

Must be available and willing to work weekends and holidays. Climb stairs and ladders. Work in outdoor weather conditions both hot and cold. Read and comprehend written instructions including safety procedures, safety signs. Must be able to perform entry level tasks with basic hand tools Perform general cleaning operations. Performs other related duties as required.

Must be 18 years of age.
