Job Description
Josh's Landscape Management is seeking dependable and hardworking Snow Removal Laborers to join our winter operations team. This is an on-call, seasonal position that plays a critical role in keeping our commercial properties safe and accessible during snow and ice events. As a Snow Removal Laborer, you will work alongside one of our experienced plow drivers, assisting with sidewalk snow removal, applying salt and ice melt, and completing other tasks needed to ensure each property is serviced safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Shovel and clear snow from sidewalks, walkways, entrances, and other pedestrian areas. Apply salt and ice melt to sidewalks and high-traffic areas. Assist the lead plow driver with snow and ice management tasks throughout the route. Safely load, unload, and operate snow removal equipment. Maintain a high level of quality and attention to detail at every property. Work efficiently in changing winter weather conditions while following all company safety procedures. Perform additional snow removal duties as assigned by the lead driver. Qualifications Must be dependable and available on short notice during snow events. Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in cold, snowy, and icy conditions. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work, including shoveling, walking, and standing for long periods. Reliable transportation to and from our shop. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work well as part of a team. Previous snow removal or landscaping experience is a plus but is not required—we are willing to train motivated individuals. What We Offer Competitive hourly pay.
