Responsibilities Safely load and unload freight using equipment such as electric pallet jacks when necessary. Must be able to drive a manual shift tractor trailer. Drive assigned routes efficiently while complying with all traffic laws and safety standards. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and report any issues promptly. Manage delivery schedules, communicate effectively with dispatch team, and adapt to route changes as needed. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, logs, and inspection reports for compliance purposes. Assist with securing loads properly to prevent damage during transit and ensure safe transportation of freight. Experience Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles involving route driving across diverse terrains. Prior experience with freight handling, load & unload procedures, and working with different types of cargo. Ability to operate electric pallet jacks is a plus. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to commercial driving and vehicle maintenance. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the specific vehicle types operated. Demonstrated commitment to safe driving practices and excellent customer service skills.
