The primary responsibility of this position will be weed whacking/string trimming at residential and commercial properties. You will also assist with mowing, blowing, landscape cleanup, and other general lawn maintenance tasks as needed. This is a hands-on outdoor position that is ideal for someone who enjoys working outside, takes pride in doing a good job, and is willing to learn. No previous landscaping experience is required. Training will be provided. Responsibilities Operate a string trimmer/weed whacker safely and efficiently Trim around buildings, fences, trees, landscaping beds, sidewalks, and other areas that cannot be reached with a mower Blow grass clippings and debris from sidewalks, driveways, walkways, and other surfaces Assist with mowing and general lawn maintenance as needed Assist with seasonal cleanup and removal of leaves, branches, and other debris Use hand tools and other landscaping equipment as directed Keep work areas, tools, and equipment clean and organized Follow all company safety procedures and properly use personal protective equipment Work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality Perform other general landscaping tasks as needed Qualifications Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions Able to perform physical work, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and operating a string trimmer for extended periods Able to follow directions and work as part of a small team Willingness to learn and take pride in your work Previous landscaping or outdoor work experience is a plus, but not required Must be able to safely operate landscaping equipment after training Valid driver's license is preferred What We Offer Part-time hours Hands-on training Outdoor work Opportunity to learn landscaping skills and gain experience A small, professional work environment If you are dependable, hardworking, and don't mind getting a little dirty, we'd like to hear from you!
