Assembly Associate•
Automotive Manufacturing Location:
Sterling Heights, MI Available Shifts 1st
Shift:
6:00 AM•2:30
PM Pay:
($15.50 hr•goes to $17.00 after 90 days) Overtime and weekend work may be required depending on production needs. Position Summary We are hiring dependable Assembly Associates to support a fast-paced automotive manufacturing operation in Sterling Heights. In this role, you will work as part of a production team assembling automotive bumper systems and components while maintaining quality, safety, and production standards. This is a hands-on position well suited for individuals who are comfortable working on their feet, using basic tools, and performing repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift. Responsibilities Assemble automotive bumper systems and related components according to work instructions and production specifications Install bolts, screws, clips, wiring, and other components Operate basic hand tools, drills, and other assembly equipment Inspect completed parts for quality, proper fit, and accuracy Identify and report defects or assembly concerns Follow established production, quality, and safety procedures Maintain required production pace and efficiency Keep the workstation clean, organized, and free of safety hazards Work closely with team members, team leaders, and supervisors to meet daily production goals Perform other production or assembly duties as assigned Qualifications Manufacturing or automotive assembly experience is helpful, but not required Ability to follow verbal and written work instructions Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment Dependable attendance and punctuality Strong attention to detail Ability to work effectively as part of a team Willingness to learn different assembly processes and job functions Requirements Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for 8+ hours Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds Ability to bend, reach, kneel, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift Ability to safely use hand tools and production equipment Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with moderate to high noise levels Benefits Benefits Paid Time Off (PTO) Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Holiday Pay
