Duties Safely operate various commercial vehicles, including box trucks and other delivery vans, following all traffic laws and safety protocols. Load and unload goods using equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks, ensuring items are handled with care. Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and meet delivery deadlines. Deliver packages directly to customers' locations, providing friendly and professional service throughout each interaction. Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, moving stock, and organizing shipments to streamline operations. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and compliance with transportation regulations. Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and reports for each trip to ensure transparency and accountability. Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with a strong understanding of route driving and navigation skills. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients. Experience operating box trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual transmission vehicles is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of warehouse procedures including load & unload processes and inventory handling. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience preferred.
