Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Truck Driver Helper and be a vital part of our logistics and distribution operations! In this energetic role, you will assist truck drivers with loading, unloading, and securing cargo, ensuring timely deliveries. Your proactive attitude and attention to safety will help maintain efficient warehouse distribution processes while supporting overall shipping and receiving activities. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in materials handling, and warehouse operations within a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist truck drivers with loading and unloading goods. Help secure cargo safely using straps, tarps, or other securing methods to prevent damage during transit Following safety protocols to move large or heavy items efficiently Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse work area to promote safety and efficiency Follow all safety procedures diligently during manual handling, heavy lifting, and operation of material handling equipment Experience Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training will be provided Experience with inventory management systems and RF scanners will help you excel in this role Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and manual handling is essential Basic math skills are necessary for measuring, counting, and verifying shipments Previous warehouse supervisor experience or exposure to shipping & receiving processes is a plus but not required Hours Evening Shift
