Duties Assist delivery drivers with loading, unloading, and securing packages using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and carts Support the safe movement of goods within warehouses and during loading/unloading at delivery sites, adhering to safe lifting practices and weight handling guidelines Help navigate routes using mobile devices, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Load and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring proper placement of items for safe transport and easy access during deliveries Provide excellent customer service by assisting with deliveries at customer locations, answering basic questions, and ensuring a positive experience Support warehouse operations by organizing inventory, maintaining cleanliness, and preparing packages for delivery Collaborate with team members to ensure all safety protocols are followed during manual handling, moving heavy items, and operating material handling equipment Requirements Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is preferred Experience in commercial driving or delivery driving roles such as van driver or courier is highly desirable Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles such as box trucks or vans safely and confidently Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, moving items, and supporting load & unload activities Knowledge of traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations for commercial vehicle operation Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards clients and team members Ability to operate mobile devices for route navigation and communication purposes Experience with material handling equipment like pallet jacks or carts is a plus Willingness to adhere to safe lifting practices, weight handling protocols, and workplace safety standards Join us today in this energetic role where your efforts directly contribute to delivering happiness!
