Job Description

About the Role O & M Landscape LLC is a growing New Jersey landscaping company serving high-end residential and commercial properties. We are hiring landscape laborers to join our crews for the season. You do not need years of experience to start here. You need to show up on time, work hard, take direction, and care about doing the job right. If you have experience, we will pay for it and give you room to take on more responsibility. Schedule 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday Some Saturdays required during busy periods Overtime available during peak season
Winter:
on-call for snow removal, including nights, weekends, and holidays during storms What You'll Do Mow, edge, trim, and blow on maintenance routes Install shrubs, trees, sod, and other plant material Spread mulch and topsoil; perform grading and drainage work Assist with hardscape and masonry installations Load, unload, and stage materials and tools Clean and maintain equipment, trucks, and trailers at the end of each day Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe Perform snow removal, including shoveling, salting, and plow support, during winter storms What We're Looking For A positive attitude and a strong work ethic Willingness to learn and take direction from crew leaders Reliable transportation and consistent on-time attendance Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (motor vehicle record will be checked) Ability to communicate clearly with the crew on job sites Legal authorization to work in the United States Nice to Have (Not Required) Prior landscaping, hardscaping, masonry, or construction experience Experience operating a skid steer, mini skid steer, or excavator Experience towing and backing trailers Small engine or equipment maintenance knowledge Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding outdoor job.
You must be able to:
Lift and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for the full shift Work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, and snow Operate hand tools and power equipment safely for extended periods Compensation and Benefits $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, paid based on experience and skill level Overtime paid in accordance with New Jersey and federal law Additional paid hours available through winter snow operations Benefits such as health insurance and paid time off are not offered at this time
