In this energetic role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling, loading, unloading, and organizing freight to ensure smooth distribution processes. Your proactive approach will help maintain safety standards, optimize inventory management, and support seamless shipping and receiving activities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse distribution, heavy equipment operation, and materials handling within a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Load and unload shipments using various heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and cranes while adhering to safety protocols. Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move goods within the warehouse. Pick orders accurately using manual methods to fulfill customer requests promptly. Manage inventory by organizing stock in designated areas, conducting regular stock counts, and updating records with inventory management systems. Assist with shipping and receiving tasks by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation. Ensure manual handling procedures are followed for heavy lifting tasks to prevent injuries. Maintain a clean, organized workspace while following OSHA safety standards and warehouse safety protocols at all times. Skills Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, or shipping & receiving roles. Ability to operate heavy equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling machinery. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management techniques, and safety procedures. Skilled in manual handling and heavy lifting with a focus on safety compliance.
