Job Description

General Worker Pay range: $18 - $22
GENERAL PURPOSE:
Issue raw materials in a timely fashion to designated work stations. Move work-in-process to designated areas. Segregate printed materials from other waste and dispose of them.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Stages trays, cages, pallets, cartons, dollies, skids, cut material, folded material, and waste containers as required. Manages chipboard on and off of dollies and skids. Empties waste containers in each process area. Separates and properly discards corrugated, printed material, and miscellaneous garbage. Performs banding, stretch wrapping, etc. of materials for shipment. Delivers shipments to various departments. Follows all standard operating procedures relevant to the job, position, and department. Follows established policies, work instructions, and safety and environmental guidelines. Performs all assigned work effectively and on schedule. Follows instructions accurately. Keeps work area neat and clean. Performs other job duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
: Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D. Must have, or be able to obtain, a valid forklift operator license. Must be able to read and comprehend documents such as safety rules, procedures, and work instructions. Must pass color vision test. Must be able to maintain good attendance. Must be willing to work overtime as needed; significant overtime may be required during busy periods. Must be able to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation.
