Partner with the Director of Maintenance and other company leaders.
Help establish consistent processes, accountability, and communication across the facility.
Support a productive, organized, and professional shop environment.
Provide clear updates on progress, risks, and completed work.
Lead through hands-on involvement, sound judgment, and follow-through.
Requirements

Experience in aviation maintenance, aircraft maintenance operations, or a closely related aviation environment.
Experience coordinating maintenance work, projects, production, or shop operations.
Strong organizational and project-management skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple jobs and changing operational demands.
Strong executive-functioning skills, including planning, follow-up, time management, and problem-solving.
Ability to communicate clearly with technicians, managers, executives, and other stakeholders.
Demonstrated ownership of work quality, deadlines, and results.
Professional, well-organized presentation and communication style.
Ability to work on-site in Farmingdale, New York.
Ideal Candidate Profile

A hands-on operator who drives work forward.
Organized, dependable, and highly attentive to detail.
Comfortable managing people, priorities, and competing deadlines.
Capable of making sound decisions and escalating issues appropriately.
Motivated by producing high-quality work and improving operational performance.
Mature, accountable, and committed to professional standards.
Evaluated based on demonstrated capability and cultural fit—not job title alone.
•A Director of Maintenance title or DOM qualification is not required for this position. Strong aviation maintenance experience, operational ability, project-management skills, and the potential to grow into broader leadership responsibilities are valued.
