Position Summary The Shop Hand is responsible for completion of daily duties related to the general shop and facility upkeep and maintenance; performing standard facility maintenance; and assisting in the loading and unloading of company vehicles and equipment. Essential Job Functions Operate forklift to move products and materials, ensuring placement in correct areas. Complete inventory daily to ensure products and supplies are well stocked. Ensure cleanliness of equipment and the shop environment. Assist in the loading and unloading of supplies and equipment. Maintain proper documentation of tools and materials. Skills and Qualifications High school education or equivalent. Valid forklift certification. Ability to uphold company safety standards. Strong oral and written communication skills. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work in extreme weather and physical conditions. Prior experience in light industrial environment preferred. General mechanical knowledge preferred.
