This is an entry level position with the opportunity to obtain Operator's Licenses. This position is responsible for performing routine manual work in various areas of the Water and Wastewater Distribution System. Qualified candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent; valid PA driver's license with clean record (CDL is preferred); ability to perform physical tasks and lift 50-75 lbs regularly; general knowledge of and ability to use equipment and tools; general mechanical and plumbing knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair issues; willingness to work outdoors; and basic computer skills. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 6:30 A.M. - 3:00 P.M. Occasional weekend and holiday work and emergency repairs outside business hours may be required.
