Description Local natural gas company is hiring reliable workers to train into Field Technicians. No experience necessary, basic plumbing skills and use of power tools is a plus. With training, you will read and change meters; install, maintain and repair gas line; conduct pipeline patrols; ensure regulatory codes are always met; and contribute to general shop and vehicle maintenance. Must be reliable, dependable, ready to work hard with a small dedicated team; like to learn and solve problems; be able to communicate well with customers; be willing to complete required safety programs; and be available for a 40 hour work week plus assigned on-calll rotation/emergency call-outs. Pay commensurate with experience, starts at $20 - $23 per hour, health benefits and PTO begin after 90-day probation period; vacation benefits begin after 1 year. Must be able to perform challenging physical work in the field, have a valid driver's license, pass a background check, and agree to random drug screening.
