Gingrich Animal Supply, Inc. is a live poultry wholesaler. We sell live poultry to urban markets in the mid-Atlantic region. We are currently seeking a full-time laborer to load and unload crates of live poultry as well as clean our loading areas, trucks, and shipping crates.

THIS JOB REQUIRES . . . 1.

The ability to do repeated heavy lifting

• This is a physically demanding position.

Full poultry crates can weigh up to 100 lbs. and each laborer will handle many crates each day while unloading the incoming trailers and loading the outgoing straight trucks. All crates are moved manually;

WE DO NOT USE POWERED FORKLIFTS OR OTHER MACHINERY TO MOVE THE CRATES. 2. A

willingness to work around live poultry and animals. If you have allergies to animals or dust, please be aware that this position could aggravate those allergies. You will be working around live poultry and animals; you will get dirty. 3. A Flexible schedule. This job requires a flexible schedule as our laborers work a varying shift throughout the week. Start time is 6 a.m on most days and the laborers work until the job duties are completed, not a scheduled quitting time. The job also includes occasional Saturday or Sunday hours. 4. The ability to understand spoken English . All instructions are given verbally in English. The ability to understand written English is helpful, but not required. Due to working with the crate washing machine, all laborers must be 18 years of age or older.
