GENERAL LABORER FOR WATER WELL DRILLING & SERVICING

Sanders Deep Well Inc. in Summerville, SC is looking for a dependable, hardworking person who wants to learn the water well trade.

Starting Pay:

$23.00/hour + (based on your credentials/ skills/ performance) Paid weekly- every Friday 40 hours/week guaranteed

WHAT WE DO

We drill new residential, irrigation, and public supply water wells, we service and repair existing wells for homes, irrigation, and businesses. On drilling days, you'll be helping shovel the mud box, helping with casing, drill rods, and other materials, and learning how to assist on the back of the drilling rig. On service days, you'll ride in the service truck with Joseph and assist with well and pump repairs while learning the service side of the business.

HOURS:

Monday- Friday with occasional Saturdays requested in advance. This is NOT an 8-5 job. Our hours depend on the job and vary daily. A realistic workday is 10-14 hours, with 12 hour days being most common.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Everything we do is outdoors. It's hot, muddy, wet, dirty, and tiring.

EXPERIENCE

Not necessary. You don't need to come in knowing the water well business, we can teach you that. You DO need to show up, work hard, listen, learn, and be someone we can count on.

REQUIREMENTS

Valid driver's license Reliable transportation Dependable attendance Able to handle long days working outdoors in the weather conditions Honest, hardworking, willing to listen, and willing to learn Able to lift 50/75 lbs regularly Must be able to meet applicable drug testing requirements Maintain safety standards by following safety procedures, including proper use of hand tools and heavy machinery.
