Job Description

Laborer Job Summary:
The Industrial Pipe Coating Facility Labor Hand is responsible for assisting in the preparation, coating, and finishing of industrial pipes according to company standards and customer specifications. This role involves physical labor, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in loading and unloading pipes for coating operations. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or blasting to ensure proper coating adhesion. Operate and maintain coating equipment under supervision. Inspect coated pipes for quality and report any defects or irregularities. Follow all safety guidelines, including the use of PPE and proper handling of chemicals. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Support other team members in meeting production deadlines.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in industrial or manufacturing environments is a plus. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Basic understanding of hand tools and equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Skills:
Physical stamina and manual dexterity. Ability to work in a team environment. Basic mechanical aptitude. Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Work Conditions:
Exposure to noise, dust, and chemicals in an industrial setting. Requires wearing protective gear (gloves, goggles, respirators, etc.). May involve overtime or weekend work based on production needs.
